Biomedical information

  • Fu Ling is a celebrated herb in traditional medicine of Asia, where it is used as an antioxidant and purifying and softening agent. The part used in Elastin FL+® is the sclerocia (mycelium), which is rich in triterpenes and polysacchrides (pachyman).
  • Elastin FL+® promotes skin thickness, microcirculation, and radiance.
  • Lessens the appearance of wrinkles characteristic of aging.
  • Good during menopause and for mature skin.
  • Mature FL intensifies the expression of the CDRR trans-membrane glycoprotein receptor, thus improving the hyaluronic acid binding the dermis and epidermis.
  • SPRR is a family of small proteins located in the dense envelope of the epidermis. Because of aging and menopause, these proteins become over-expressed and this leads to important skin imbalances. Elastin FL+® diminishes the expression of SPRR and improves the appearance of mature skin.
